San Antonio Splashtown Water Park is about a three minute drive from downtown
San Antonio.
Splashtown has over 50 rides and attractions including water slides, lazy rivers, wave pools, a dive-in movie,
and much more. Splashtown also offers a souvenir shop, a large covered picnic area, a restaurant, and
concessions. Splashtown accommodates groups for birthday parties and other special events.
Rides, Slides, & Attractions:
The Luge:
This water slide consists of two curvy slides that are over 200 yards long and 7 stories tall. Up to 3
passengers at a time can Race down twists and turns all the way to the bottom where you are thrown into
a pool. You must be 42" tall to ride this Splashtown water slide.
The Star Flight:
The Star Flight is two enclosed tube slides that are over 5 stories tall. Riders race their way through
the dark tubes around twists and turns before falling into a pool at the bottom. You must be 42" tall to
ride this Splashtown water slide.
The Serpentines:
The Serpentines is three tube slides called the viper, the Python, and the Cobra. These slides are over
800 ft of twists and curves. You must be 42" tall to ride this Splashtown water slide.
Crystal Falls:
Crystal Falls is a shallow lagoon that features rocky waterfalls, water slides, and other water attractions for
the children. You must be 42" tall or be accompanied by an adult to enjoy this attraction.
The Hydras:
The Hydras is a 5 story tower that will send you racing to the bottom. Riders will experience fast speeds, sharp
turns, and huge drops before reaching the bottom. You must be 48" tall to ride this Splashtown water slide.
Kids Kove:
Kids Kove is a shallow play pool for your kids to enjoy. This attraction has a scaled down version of several of
the other park attractions. This area has a kid lazy river, water slides, and more. Kids must be less than 48" to
enjoy this attraction.
The Head Rush:
On the Head Rush, guests get a mat and ride this water slide face down and head first! Slide head first down this fun
slide into a pool at the bottom. The Head Rush is the only head first mat slide in San Antonio. You must be 36"
tall to ride this Splashtown water slide.
The Siesta Del Rio:
The Siesta Del Rio is a lazy river that flows around and through the park. Guests can relax in the sun and enjoy
floating along while looking at the scenery of the Splashtown Park. You must be 42" tall to enjoy this attraction
unless accompanied by an adult.
The Wave Pool:
With artificial waves, the Wave Pool makes you feel like you are at the beach. Guests can play in this huge pool
and swim against the strong waves or roll around in the breakers. Many guests stay at this attraction all day long.
Other Attractions:
If you are not into the water slides, lazy rivers, and wave pools, or if you need a break from them, San Antonio
Splashtown Water Park also has facilities for playing water volleyball, beach volleyball, and Basketball. Splashtown
also offers places to eat and shops to buy souvenirs.
